at home.
While being a unique story in its own right, The
Shadow Thieves shares many similarities with Percy Jackson, namely it is
written in the fantasy genre and is mythological fiction. Thematic similarities
include friendship, Greek deities, and hell as a location. Both stories also
contain humour.
